Court Booking
How to book a court
Once you and your opponent(s) have agreed on a date and format, lock in a court. Here's how.
Where to find courts
The easiest way to find and book a court near you:
Both let you search by location, see real-time availability, and book straight from the page.
Quick workflow
- 1Agree on a date and match format with your opponent(s).
- 25–7 days before the match, start checking court availability on LTA Court Finder.
- 3Book the court as soon as a slot that works for both sides shows up.
- 4Share the booking confirmation in your match WhatsApp group — address, time, any access codes.
- 5Show up 10–15 minutes early for warm-up.
Booking tips
Courts book fast — especially weekend slots and peak evening hours. Try to book a few days before your agreed date. Leaving it to the day before (or day of) is risky.
Most courts don't allow bookings more than 7 days in advance. That's a hard cap on most LTA-affiliated courts. Booking window: earliest is 7 days out, latest is as soon as you can.
Pick a court that works for everyone. Travel time matters, especially mid-week. Agree on a location both sides can reach without too much fuss.
Some courts are free, some charge a small fee. Sort out who pays / how to split before you book — easier than after.
Have a backup plan for weather. Outdoor court + rain = no match. Check the weather app, or if possible book an indoor court (costs a bit more).
Heads-up
- Can't find a court in your area? Ping the group chat — someone might know a venue not on LTA, or a private club with guest access.
- If a court turns out to be unsafe (damaged surface, poor lighting, etc.), don't play on it — reschedule or find another.
- Some venues require an LTA account before booking. Set one up ahead of time.
